Blog: Love and Hate Tour 2008 #1

Heyloooo from the road,

So on Monday August 4th we left New York to visit Ben Schigel at Spider Studios in Ohio. We headed out there to remix a few songs .. One song already appears on the current EP .. the other two are set to debut on the full album later this year.

The tour officially started on Thursday, we had two shows in two different states so  that was an interesting experience. The first show was  in the afternoon at Northwestern University in Illinois and the second show was at Milcreek out in Wisconsin. Both shows went really well and we got a  big surprise from brooklyn’s Famous Frizz. He flew all the way out to Wisconsin to surprise the band.

Friday we played outdoors at Woods Stock III. The Woods is one of our favorite places to play and we got to play alongside some great bands, especially our good friends Fahrenheit 420.  We had a fun time hanging out with some familiar faces as well as meeting a bunch of new people.

Sunday we were back at The Woods but for a open jam.. This was pretty awesome because anyone and everyone could participate.  So throughout the show random people were on stage  and there were mash ups of all different members from bands on stage. Freak  and Angel featured everyone from Johnny, Nick and Chad of F420 … while Something in Myself featured Frizz.

Monday night we got to check out the Packer game with JD at Lambeau Field.
